Noa Mintz is 15 years old and already makes more money than you. Mintz charges a flat $5 fee for babysitters and a 15% initial salary fee for nannies who usually start around $64,000 to $100,000. With 25 full-time nannies and 50 baby sitters working an average of 15 hours a week, she’s made enough money to hire a CEO to run the company for her while she attends school.
In an interview with CNN, Mintz talked about managing school life with her business saying:
“I’m not an A+ student. I have definitely struggled with school, [But] having this business, I realized that book smart isn’t the same as entrepreneurial smart. I’ve tried to channel the business to give me more confidence in school.”
If history has proven one thing, it’s that success doesn’t require one to be an excellent student. When asked about her future, Mintz simply replied “First I need to finish high school, and then perhaps I’ll launch another company. We will see.” Read more…
